Pfollows with Mimmo Jodice. Timeless the project “The great Italian photography” curated by Roberto Koch. The exhibition, in 6 sections – Anamnesis, Languages, Views of Naples, Cities, Nature, Seas – and about eighty shots, presents the work of the Neapolitan photographer through major themes which inspired his expressive language “of intense and engaging poetry” that goes far beyond the chronicle of reality.
The project is completed by a documentary on Jodice’s life made by Mario Martone, a friend of the photographer, presented here for the first time.

Two days full of shows at Positano Theater Festival. Hannibal Rbird Award (the recognition goes to Tosca D’Aquino) which opens with ‘O ssaje comme fa ‘o corepoetic homage in music to Massimo Troisi and Pino Daniele.
The evening of the 24th is also dedicated to Mediterranean sounds acoustic worldthe concert by Enzo Avitabile accompanied by Gianluigi Di Fenza, guitar, and Emidio Ausiello on frame drums.

Opera, pop and…
In the context of Collinarea Sound Festival is on stage Turandot. Shadow of light“multidisciplinary and contemporary reinterpretation” of Puccini’s work with the contribution of Franco Battiato.
The event, thanks to a particular technology, can be enjoyed in three different places in the village and is the result of the collaboration between the Goldoni Theater Orchestra of Livorno directed by Mario Menicagli, a rock band of 6 elements, a choir of 40 singers and 11 actors.

Twenty villages and towns, one for each region, host A breath of artthe project that involves as many artists invited to carry out interventions consistent with the territory and local traditions.
Thus was born, from the Val d’Aosta to Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia, a large open-air art exhibition where different techniques and artistic languages dialogue with the context that inspired them.

Music on Monte Amiata
If you are in Tuscany, don’t miss the Santa Fiora International Music Festival. From 23 July to 24 August the village of Santa Fiora (GR), on the slopes of Monte Amiata, will be enlivened by many free concerts and shows.
The official opening will be on July 27 with the night concert of the State Police Band, in what used to be the fishing garden of the Counts Sforza. A jewel of plants, flowers and ponds born around the sources of the Fiora river that can still be visited. And between ducks and swans, the Auditorium della Peschiera (below) becomes a natural stage for shivering, not just musical.
They will always perform here Nicola Piovani and Fabrizio Bosso. The Oscar-winning composer will present a piano performance, Marginal notes with drawings by Milo Manara, to make the night of August 10th even more stellar.
While the internationally renowned trumpeter with his quartet will pay homage to Stevie Wonder, interpreting his most famous ballands in We Wonder.
