BiM-where Bicocca meets Milanthe large urban regeneration project and new cultural heart of the Bicocca district, will host the installation of the project until November 15th Extreme ratio Of Caritas Ambrosianain collaboration with the University of Milan-Bicocca and curated by C41.

The installation proposes the faithful reproduction of a cell measuring only 8 square metresan immersive experience of empathizing with prisoners to denounce the phenomenon of overcrowding and the feeling of loneliness. Built in the carpentry of the Bollate prison, the cell is accompanied by a selection of significant shots from the exhibition Re-shots. For me you go among the lost peoplewith the aim of encouraging an even stronger identification in the user with respect to the experience in prison housing.

In addition to the shots, three interviews with Ileana Montagnin will be screenedi (Head of the serious adult marginalization area of ​​Caritas Ambrosiana), Amedeo Francesco Novelli (Photographer for Ri-Scatti ODV) e Gaia Pollastrini (Operational Coordinator of the Penitentiary Center of the Milan-Bicocca University) aimed at contextualising both initiatives – the installation and the photographic exhibition – highlighting their important value and social impact.
