The event, network and shopping format STUDIO2RETAIL returns to Berlin Fashion Week!

The event, network and shopping format STUDIO2RETAIL returns to Berlin Fashion Week from September 5th to 10th, 2022! Berlin designers, brands and stores can now apply for prize money totaling 80,000 euros for their offsite show or store events as part of STUDIO2RETAIL.

STUDIO2RETAIL will take place for the third time at the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week from September 5th to 10th, 2022. For this purpose, the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises is providing prize money totaling 80,000 euros to specifically support stationary retail and local designers in Berlin as part of Berlin Fashion Week. The prize money is to be awarded to particularly innovative, creative and sustainable event concepts. Of this, six times EUR 10,000 each will go to offsite show concepts and eight times EUR 2,500 each to store event concepts. Designers and retailers based in Berlin can now apply. In the second week of August, the Fashion Council Germany will announce the winners, who were selected in advance by a top-class jury.

The application deadline for concept submissions is Sunday, August 7th, 2022. Applications with offsite show concepts can be submitted via the following link and store events via the following link. The prerequisite for taking part in the competition is that the applicants have registered for the network on the STUDIO2RETAIL website in advance.

STUDIO2RETAIL is the perfect format to show the diverse and impressive Berlin fashion scene.”

In addition to awarding the prize money for offsite shows and store events, STUDIO2RETAIL aims to address end consumers through its network of unique Berlin fashion locations and to invite them to the stores, studios and events through targeted communication in order to establish contact with the versatile creative and design scene. The Fashion Council Germany is therefore also calling for registration for the STUDIO2RETAIL network: anyone who has a fashion store, studio or showroom in Berlin and who opens the doors as part of STUDIO2RETAIL and interested customers can become part of STUDIO2RETAIL :invite. As part of a communication campaign, STUDIO2RETAIL supports activation by presenting the network, introducing the designers and locations and communicating the events. These are listed on the STUDIO2RETAIL website and shown on an interactive map.
