Ukraine has been supported by many in the middle of the war. Broadcasters are showing their support for Ukraine by playing the same song today, Friday, March 4, at 9:45 a.m.
Finnish Broadcasting Corporation reports on the rapture on Facebook, among other things.
– Today, March 4, at 9:45 a.m., all radio stations playing Yle’s music and several radio stations in the EBU countries show their support for Ukraine by playing simultaneously John Lennonin Give Peace a Chance song.
– The moment is unique and historical, because never before have so many European radio stations played the same song together at the same time, Yle is told.
The rapture is described as an indication of how the power of radio can strengthen the struggle for peace and create a common movement. Lennon’s song is said to reflect communality, hope and peace.

Like many Finnish celebrities, world stars have shown their support and compassion for Ukrainians.
Among other things, actress Angelina Jolie expressed her concern on behalf of Ukraine and called in a statement that it was now vital to do everything possible to help Ukrainians fleeing their homes.
Actress Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, on the other hand, launched a charity campaign to raise money to help Ukrainians fleeing their homes. The amount could rise to as much as $ 1 million, or up to $ 900,000.
– In the last 48 hours, numerous Ukrainians have had to flee their homes to neighboring countries. They need protection, Reynolds wrote in his Twitter account as early as Saturday.
