The Euroleague fine to Llull for disrespecting the referees

The Euroleague fine the player Real Madrid, Sergio Lullwith 3,500 for “despising” the referees in the duel last Tuesday, March 8, against Red Star, at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade. This has been decided by the disciplinary committee of the competition, which has also punished the local team for throwing objects onto the track by some of its fans.

The one from Mahón will have to pay €3,500 by acts that represented a lack of respect towards the referees. The sanction is included in section 27.2.b of the disciplinary code of the competition. For his part, the Red Star must pay €6,000 for him throwing objects on the field. This reprimand corresponds to article 29.2.h of the referenced code.

Madrid lost in Belgrade (65-62) and chained four consecutive defeats adding Euroleague, League and Cup.
