The European Union is too dependent on Russian gas. This was stated by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
According to the politician, the attitude towards Russian gas became clear during the crisis around Ukraine. Ursula von der Leyen believes the EU now needs reliable suppliers, reports TASS.
The head of the European Commission also welcomed the decision of Germany on suspension of certification Nord Stream 2. In her opinion, the German government did absolutely the right thing.
