The Spanish team announced that former player Roger Grimau has been appointed as head coach after the separation with Jasikevicius. Having signed a contract valid until 30 June 2025, 44-year-old Grimau has been the head coach of Barça Athletic for 2 years. Grimau, who sweated the Spanish team’s jersey between 2003 and 2011, won the EuroLeague championship in 2010.
