Actor Ashley Park32, says he came close to death due to septic shock.
Park says on Instagram that it all started with tonsillitis during her trip to Thailand at the turn of the year. The star says that he suffered from severe pain, which he tried to endure until he ended up in the intensive care unit.
Park says he is still recovering, but on the winning side.
– As I sit here recovering from the first weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is gratitude, Park wrote on social media.
Park thanks his partner Paul support. He describes his partner calming him in the ambulance, hospitals, intensive care unit, examinations and in the midst of pain.
Duodecim sepsis is a critical illness caused by an infection: “patients suffering from sepsis and especially septic shock belong to intensive care if, after an overall assessment of the patient’s situation, they are deemed to benefit from intensive care”.
