Elisa Claps was sixteen years old when she disappeared into thin air on 12 September 1993. He lives in Potenza with his family, his brothers Gildo and Luciano, his mother Filomena and his father Antonio.
That morning, after mass, meets Daniele Restivo in the church of the Santissima Trinità. From that moment on, all traces of her have been lost. Suspicions immediately fall on Restivo, but there is no news of Elisa. The family begins a long search that will last seventeen years. Until, that is, the girl’s body was found in the attic of the church only on March 17, 2010.
In Where no one looks – The Elisa Claps case Pablo Trincia meets the protagonists, starting with his brother Gildo, who immediately did everything to discover the truth. The same goes for her mother, Filomena, who never lost heart, even when no one listened to her. Still, the investigation brings together judicial documents, documents, unpublished testimonies and videos that have never been released in full until now. In particular this is the last video of Elisa still alive and videos of Restivo, never disclosed before. To these is added some procedural material unpublished to the media, which until now no one had ever requested and obtained.
Restivo’s conviction and Elisa’s portrait

Trincia digs to the bottom of the story, but it also wants to tell who Elisa was, a sixteen-year-old high school student who dreamed of studying medicine. Trincia also tries to answer several questions. That is, she tries to understand why the body wasn’t found sooner. It also explains the various stages of the ordeal experienced by the Claps familyfrom the moment of his disappearance to the investigations that always ended in a soap bubble.

The disappearance of Elisa Claps has occupied the news pages for some time. And even when the search turned up nothing, the family continued to fight for answers.
