The Dutch seriously injured after falling with a trike in the abyss in Northern Italy: ‘They were not allowed to drive here’ Inland

According to local media, the Dutch were riding a trike and two Vespas on a mountain road with a series of hairpin bends near Lake Garda. They drove downhill in the direction of Brenzone, where things went horribly wrong: the Dutchman lost control of the wheel in a hairpin bend and plunged 50 meters down. The vehicle ended up in the brambles.

Seven Dutch tourists

Two of the three people on the trike were seriously injured and were taken by helicopter to a hospital in Verona. The third suffered minor injuries. Two scooter riders also suffered minor injuries in the fatal bend, according to local media. It concerns a group of seven Dutch tourists. The fire brigade and police were assisted in the rescue work by a special emergency service for the Alps.

The department is prohibited for cars and motorcycles. The Dutch were not allowed to drive on this road at all, according to Italian media.
