The Dutch promises leave Monday for a training camp to Austria. On Wednesday there is an exhibition match against the Olympic team of Japan at SC Wiener Neustadt.

The Dutch Juniors then leave for Georgia. On Wednesday, June 21, Young Belgium will be the first opponent in the group stage of the European Championship in Tbilisi. The meeting with Jong Portugal will follow on Saturday, June 24, and Jong Georgia will be the last opponent in the group stage on Tuesday, June 27. Those two duels are also in Georgia. The top two countries in the group qualify for the quarter-finals.

Frimpong

Van de Looi does not have access to Jeremie Frimpong at the European Championships. Bayer Leverkusen’s right back was not available because he was disappointed that national coach Ronald Koeman did not select him for the final round of the Nations League with the Dutch national team. Koeman denounced that decision.
