The “Berlin Tour MMXXII” of the doctors continues. After starting very successfully on May 7th in the super small location “Schokoladen” (130 fans) and then leading Die Ärzte to SO36 (850 fans), the punk rockers had to cancel three concerts – at least with the mentioning of alternative dates still in this summer.
But now the regular tour continues. Namely on June 6th in the Zitadelle Spandau. The Berlin electropop band Großstadtgeflüster will perform as a special guest. We have all the information about the concert at a glance.
Tickets:
Up to 10,000 visitors* fit into the Zitadelle Spandau for open-air concerts. Nevertheless, the concert of the doctors, like almost all other stops on the “Berlin Tour MMXXII”, is sold out. Only for the concert at Tempelhof Airport on August 26, 2022 are there currently tickets.
Directions:
You can easily reach the Zitadelle Spandau by public transport. The subway line goes to the “Zitadelle” stop, which is right next to the historical sight and event location – you only have to successfully cross the Zitadelle moat. Alternatively, you can also take the S-Bahn lines 3 and 9 to the “Spandau” station, but you still have to walk a good quarter of an hour to get there. Or you decide to take the bus and take the X33 to the “Zitadelle” station.
Weather:
After a sunny Pentecost weekend, it is unfortunately supposed to be cooler and rainier again at the beginning of the week in Berlin. However, the meteorologists are not yet in complete agreement as to when exactly the weather should change. In any case, it should be quite windy. It remains to be seen whether it will rain on Monday or on Tuesday night. It certainly can’t hurt to dig up the umbrella from the basement and have it ready for the concert.
