In this week’s Do you want to be a millionaire episode, a trotter gets to sit in the hot seat Lauri Hyvönen. Hyvönen, who lives in Järvenpää, does well in the competition until the question of 5,000 euros.

The question deals with an everyday commodity that can be found in almost every Finn’s home.

– Who designed the famous plastic-handled Fiskars scissors in the 1960s, presenter Antti Holma asks.

He lists the answer options: Olof Bäckström, Kaj Franck, Gunnel Nyman or Pekka Wikström.

– Very strong Etiäinen and intuition, but when I can’t be completely sure, that’s where the call is taken, Hyvönen announces.

He chose the mother of his student friend and goddaughter as his friend Soili Lammin.

The 30-second shared time starts when Lauri reads the question with its options. The guy’s response rate is frighteningly leisurely. The call turns into a little suspense drama.

– I would remember, Lammi starts when there are only nine seconds left.

– Say quickly, Hyvönen shouts.

– Somehow, that it would have been… Lammi empii.

Hyvönen yells at his friend even harder.

– Bäckström, Olof Bäckström, the answer just comes out before the call hangs up.

Hyvönen decides to trust his friend and locks option a, Olof Bäckström.
