The renovation task of the Diili program does not go quite well.
The Diili contestants are faced with quite a challenge in this week’s program, when their task is to renovate an apartment in less than two days. The task would be challenging even for a construction professional, so it should come as no surprise that the competitors are in trouble.
Competing in the Kiila team Emma says that he has experience in renovations and he takes responsibility for the doors of the kitchen cabinets. Emma is allowed to deliver just the right size doors for the kitchen. However, it is the other way around. The doors are different colors and sizes, and this does not meet the team’s wishes for a successful kitchen set.
Emma is disappointed that she was expected to do a perfect job on a very tight schedule.
– We were expected to have a perfect kitchen here. That we would have a custom-made kitchen, which of course is not really possible, says Emma.

Acting as an advisor Toni Lähde follows the course of events from the sidelines and takes notes for the management team.
– The cabinet doors are all the wrong size. And now it seems that we are getting this kind of roster-brown-white combination, which, as far as I know, does not increase the value of any apartment, Lähde criticizes.
Apartment sales professionals are also not convinced of the final result of the renovation. The fact that the kitchen is unfinished, and the cabinet doors do not open properly, arouses criticism.

– The buyer who goes there will have to dismantle the kitchen first, says Fagerström, who acts as an advisor.
– After all, you left the kitchen there, where one cabinet door does not open. All the cabinet doors are slightly different sizes and it looks really awful, Linnonmaa shakes.
