The destruction caused by wolves in a short time on a sheep farm is astonishing

Lampuri tells his thoughts about wolves and the wolf conversation.

In the program Tervo & Halme in search of true Finns, we talk about the destruction caused by wolves on a sheep farm. PDO

Author Jari Tervo and editor Jani Halme while traveling around Finland together, they find out what true Finnishness is.

In tonight’s program Tervo & Halme in search of true Finnishness, a pair of sleds will first get into the water with a professional fisherman.

They ask the fisherman Pekka from Rintamaawhether Finns value nature.

– Absolutely love and respect, but Finns don’t understand anything about nature anymore, Rintamaa answers.

The men also get to fillet their own catch.

The journey continues to the Ylänee sheep farm, where they talk to a professional lampooner about wolves.

Tapio Rintala’s sheep farm has been attacked by wolves twice in a short time.

– Three weeks ago they killed a couple of sheep and now a week ago eleven died and eight were injured, Rintala tells Tervo and Halmee, who are surprised by the amount of destruction.

The wolves had gotten into the sheep pen.

Rintala had asked for a removal permit for the wolf in question. However, the authorities did not notice it, because “the damage had only been material”.

According to him, it is a delusion that all wolves in the countryside are wanted dead.

– I fear for these animals of mine. I fear this for my livelihood.

In Rintala’s opinion, wolf talk is conducted with emotion.

– People who don’t even own rubber boots and live along Mannerheimintie on the third floor advise me how I should live here, says Rintala.
