Earlier today it was reported that Popeda is ending and will play its last gig next fall in Tampere’s Ratina.
The band’s guitarist Costello Tomb tells now on Instagram about the decision.
– Yes, it’s sad. Mustajärvi’s personal decision. Everyone else in the band would have continued as normal, Hautamäki wrote Pate to Mustajärvi referring to.
Popeda will play his last gig at Ratina Stadium in Tampere on Saturday 2 September 2023.
– You have to catch your breath, dare to walk off the stage before someone catches you. What happens in the future remains to be seen. And if something happens, you will hear about it, Mustajärvi said in the press release.
Hautamäki started as a guitarist for Popeda in 1981. In addition to Popeda, he has also played in Sensuuri, Hanoi Rocks and Sleepy Sleepers.
