The Cultural Academy of L’Hospitalet is integrated into the network of public schools

  • The agreement has been closed this Wednesday between Educació, the city council and the ownership of the center

Barely a month after the Parliament approved modifying the decree law that regulates the incorporation of educational centers into the public network, which saved the Cultural Academy of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat from closing, the Department of Education has finished the job this Wednesday to integrate this concerted school into the network of public schools Catalans. Looking ahead to the next course 22-23this center will no longer appear as concerted, as reported by the ‘conselleria’ itself after a meeting with the head of the center and the City Council of L’Hospitalet in which the agreement has been closed.

The battle of families of the 319 infant, primary and ESO students and their teachers to avoid the closure was propped up in the schooling needs what’s in it Torrassa neighborhood. This is one of the key arguments that has allowed the integration of the school to the public network.

The Department has indicated that meetings have been held in recent weeks to reach this agreement and “find a way out for the neighbourhood’s needs”, accompanying the families during the pre-registration process.

Education and the city council are now finishing defining the possible locations of the center, although for the next academic year the majority of the students will be enrolled in the modules that the Ernest Lluch school will occupy until the end of this academic year, which will move to a new building.
