Noetflix has issued the first official images of The Crown 6 of William and Kate Middleton young lovers. To interpret the boys are respectively Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy, rookie actors already photographed on set months ago. He is 23, she is 19. What this important but also risky role will do for their careers, only the airing of the series will tell. scheduled for the end of the year with 10 episodes 60 minutes each.

The Crown 6the plot of the episodes
The series focuses the university years of the protagonists. His Royal Highness William Arthur Philip Louis Windsornow Prince of Wales, is about to attend the University of St. Andrews. His will is to fully live this experience, probably the last in which he will be able to lead an almost normal life, away from the spotlight to which he has been forced since birth.

A story, however, that tastes almost like a fairy tale, culminating with the wedding, celebrated on April 29, 2011 in Westminster Abbey, in the presence of about 1900 guests. A historic event broadcast live worldwide, which has rejuvenated the monarchy – Kate Middleton is not an aristocrat – and which has captured the attention of about two billion viewers.

Claudia Harrison and Olivia Williams, instead, wear the clothes of Princess Anne and Camilla Parker Bowles respectively. They complete the cast of The Crown 6 Bertie Carvel as then Prime Minister Tony Blair, Salim Daw and Khalid Abdalla in those of Mohamed and Dodi Al Fayed respectively.
Of course it’s not missing Prince Harry, played in the first episodes by Flynn Edwards and later by Luther Ford. Rufus Kampa, on the other hand, is William in the first episodes. In the final ones he is played by the aforementioned Ed McVey. Regarding Meg Bellamy, Netflix reports that she landed the role of Kate after submitting an audition video.
Written by Peter Morgan, the shooting was done in Scotland, right in St. Andrews, at the beginning of 2023. Among the cult places, also the Northpoint Cafewhere William is rumored to have met Kate for the first time.
