A new mandaat voor Wunsch had a formality required, maar op de laatste vergadering voor het kerstreces raakte de regeringstop het niet eens over eren aantal dossiers, waardoor also de lenging van het mandaat van de NBB governor geblokkeerd raakte.

The transition regulation states that the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance have an official letter from the NBB with the request for “ten uitzonderlijke title” and for “a short period” in functie te houden om zo de continuïteit te garanderen.
