Actor Simone Ashley, 27, is best known for the Bridgerton series. In the new season of the hit series, the actress will be seen starring Kate Sharmana.
The star talks in a recent interview with The Sun about the problems the costume and tight corsets in the series brought. He says eating a hearty breakfast before the first descriptions turned out to be a mistake.
– On my first day I thought “Okay, my first day in the lead role, you have to eat a lot to cope”. I ate a big serving of salmon and then I had to vomit because I had a corset on.
– I realized that if you wear a corset, then you won’t eat. It changes your body. For a moment, I had a narrower waist, the star says.
The actress talks about the liberating feeling that the removal of the corset brought.
– The moment you open the corset, your body is just the way it is again. I experienced a lot of pain with the corset. I guess it hurts my shoulder at some point, Ashley says.

Bridgerton, one of Netflix’s most popular series, returned for second season episodes at the end of March. The new season of the drama series, which combines old-time costume drama and modernity, attracted a staggering number of viewers.
Bridgerton garnered 193 million viewing hours on its opening weekend. During the week, 251 million viewing hours were accumulated. In these figures, it set a record for English-language series.
