That is what has happened, that a handful of conservative ultras, some of them inspiring the assault two years ago, have resisted voting in favor of their party’s candidate until they show that they have power. The result of this dramatic round of voting clearly reflects that the toxicity of Donald Trump’s tenure far has moved from the Republican party to Congress and the worst thing is that no one controls this new conspiracy.
The democracy that we assumed to be the most stable on the planet is going through its worst hours. Until now the radicals had hijacked the republican party.
