Selcuk Method, who played the leading roles in Aşk-ı Memnu with names such as Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Nebahat Çehre, Beren Saat and Hazal Kaya, confessed that the series has been popular for years. He stated that although the method has not been on the screen for many years, it has become popular thanks to the series with the words “When I go abroad, I eat the cream of it”.
Selçum Method made an interesting confession in the program “One to One with Fatih Altaylı” broadcast on Bloomberg HT about the series “Aşk-ı Memnu”, which is still talked about with the reruns broadcast on Kanal D, although it made its finale 12 years ago. The master artist said, “I’m putting Aşk-ı Memnu in another place. It’s been 12 years, it shows the same vitality and impact on the audience. It has been shown in 100 countries and when I go abroad, I eat the cream of it.”
Selcuk Method, who has not taken part in TV series for a long time, said, “The series is another responsibility. I don’t think there is a 2.5-hour TV series in five days anywhere in the world. It’s a scary thing, but I appreciate all of them.”
The 68-year-old actress said, “I would take a role in the series, but it has to be a very good concept. Both shooting a TV series five days a week and playing a theater play make life a little difficult. Life is okay if the math fits.”
