Netflix in August: upcoming series and movies

The third season of de has just been released on the Netflix platform The color of magnoliasan all-female romantic-sentimental series.

Based on the novel series by Sherryl Woodsit is a content that was initially released during the period of the first lockdown, crossing research and the need to escape from the anxieties of the acute phase of the pandemic.

The protagonists of the story are three women from South Carolinathree friends since childhood who go through life’s unexpected events together, helping and supporting each other.

Maddie, Helen and Dana Sue: the three protagonists of “The color of magnolias – Sweet Magnolia”.

Maddie, Helen and Dana Sue share the struggles and disappointments of their respective romantic and professional lives within the classic framework of the closed community, where everyone knows each other and gossip punctuates the rhythm of everyday life.

While openly addressing a very specific female target, the series does not expire in “feminism” stringing together, however, a series of clichés that certainly don’t place it among the unmissable products of the platform (the opening of a beauty business for women only, the arrival of a new high school coach in town); yet, she is a flowing, pleasant product, without particular pretensions if not to recognize oneself in the swings of life.

For those who love female stories as a mirror and ambition of their own existence.
