The climate stickers could not achieve their old goals. No wonder: With the chosen form of protest, civil disobedience, they reaped rejection instead of jubilant approval.
Now they have a new goal: no more use of fossil raw materials from 2030. That alone shows the desperation. In order to achieve this, they want to come back to Berlin on September 13th – and not leave until their goal is reached.
There are no longer any protests in Bavaria. After all, 30 days of preventative detention await you there. Klima-Kleber spokeswoman Carla Hinrichs announced new forms of protest for the capital that no one could imagine.
That sounds like a threat to the people of Berlin – they will not achieve their new goal this time either.
