For the second day in a row, chaotic people rioted at a ministry in the capital. On Tuesday they attacked the Federal Ministry of Transport with paint bombs made from beetroot juice!
Around 50 members of the “Scientist Rebellion” group appeared at 7.40 a.m. in front of the office of Transport Minister Volker Wissing (52, FDP) on Invalidenstraße. The climate clerics of the “Last Generation”, members of “Debt for Climate” and “Ende Gelände” were also part of the riot party.
But who will save us from the climate rescuers? Before the sit-in, paint bombs were thrown at the facade. Posters were pasted, banners with “Together against climate failure” and “Stop the frenzied standstill” unrolled. Nine climate rescuers stuck to the entrance, two more on the sidewalk. They had set up a protest camp in Invalidenpark next door.
An activist, who introduced herself as a doctor from Hanover, to the BZ: “I’m here because we, as psychologists and doctors, also support this important action.” – According to their own statements, “Scientist Rebellion” is a group of international scientists who are taking immediate measures to Demand to limit the climate crisis.
The police initiated investigations into property damage and trespassing against the blockers. A police spokeswoman for BZ: “49 people were checked, one was taken to Tempelhofer Damm to decide on subsequent custody.”
According to BZ information, it is said to be a woman who has already been caught in several actions. At 11.30 a.m. the spook at the Ministry was finally over.
On Monday, 30 climate chaos had already occupied the Federal Ministry of Finance on Wilhelmstrasse.
In view of this escalation, the demands for tougher handling of the nerve glue are becoming louder and louder. The police union (GDP) speaks of crimes and guerrilla actions in connection with the climate.
And further: “It must be clear to everyone that the rule of law has to set an example at some point, because the actions are increasingly moving away from legitimate protest and the much-cited civil disobedience.”
Criminal complaint against “Last Generation”
Tuesday, 2.30 p.m., police section 48 at Zwickauer Damm 56. The CDU MP Christopher Förster (36) makes his announcement from Saturday come true: He is filing criminal charges against the climate activists of the “last generation” for forming a criminal organization!
According to Section 129 of the Criminal Code, this is punishable by imprisonment for up to five years or a fine. What Förster denounces: The focus of the blockers is not on climate protection, but on committing crimes.
The State Criminal Police Office is now investigating.
