“The climate catastrophe of the decade”: Pakistan is under water (but it’s not just the climate’s fault)

They are just some rain just in Pakistan. But what is falling from the sky today is unprecedented. It has been raining almost continuously since June – up to seven times more than usual. The floods have submerged about a fifth of the country and have already claimed more than a thousand lives. The government points an accusing finger at climate warming and the West, but receives a lot of criticism from its own population.
