The Vismarkt in Groningen slowly fills up after 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening for the celebration of King’s Night.
Music from bands and DJs can be seen and heard until after midnight.
King’s Night is also celebrated elsewhere in the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe as a prelude to King’s Day.
DJ Thyrza Postma plays during King’s Night in Assen and makes one big party on the Koopmansplein. Everywhere in the city is very busy, despite the cold.
