There are three men in the prosecution of danger.
Three men are accused of causing danger in the Oulu District Court. The charges are related to the events of the Veikkausliiga match between AC Oulu and VPS in July 2022.
AC Oulu celebrated the club’s 20th anniversary in the match. The home team lost the fight 0-6. During the match, explosives and burning torches were thrown into the Raat Stadium audience.
The children’s horror events began towards the end of the match. A blue smoke bomb was set next to the functional area, after which the accused threw a burning blue torch on the running track.
Immediately after the last torch, a loud explosive was thrown into the track, with numerous children about 5 to 10 meters away.

At the southern end of the stadium there was an event market where various activities were organized. Another loud explosive hit the air fenced field, according to the prosecutor. According to the prosecutor, the part of the stadium in question then had dozens or even a hundred people, most of them children.
The children were alarming and began to cry. The explosion scared. Part of the ears felt pain and some experienced hearing loss. In a couple of cases, the symptoms continued later.
There are three men in the prosecution of danger. One of them has admitted all the charges. The other two defendants have denied having thrown explosives on the field.
More than 20 lawyers, or victims, are designated in the summons. The prosecutor calls for a conditional imprisonment for the accused of being a danger. In addition, two lawyers require a separate penalty for assault.
