Touring the facility, the German coach shared his days in Fenerbahçe and his most special memories as part of a documentary shot by a German channel. Daum also met with Mehmet Aurelio, the technical manager of the yellow-dark blue team, who was a student during his term as a technical man, and longed for it by remembering the old days.
DAUM: FENERBAHÇE IS A PART OF MY LIFE
Sharing his feelings and thoughts about the visit with Fenerbahçe TV, Christoph Daum said: “Fenerbahce is a part of my life. At the same time, this is my second home. I have very nice and wonderful memories here. I have always felt like a family member.
We were a big family with both the management, the people working here, everyone here. We were gathering everyone’s thoughts and acting as one body. This is very important, because you don’t always find that in football. It’s always a great honor for me to meet beautiful people here. I see the legendary players here and it is very nice to meet these people in Turkey.
