The cause of death of actor Cody Longo, known from the Päivie viemää soap series, has been determined.
Longo died in February. TMZ-news site says the autopsy report reveals that the actor died of alcoholism, more specifically “chronic ethanol abuse”.
Longo was 34 years old when he died. According to the medical report, his manner of death was “natural”. His body could not stand the constant consumption of alcohol.
Reports revealed that Longo’s body had been lying in the apartment for a long time. According to information from the TMZ website, many empty bottles were found at the scene of death.
Longo’s family confirmed the death to news website TMZ in February. The actor was found dead in his bed in Austin.

Longo was in rehab in the summer of 2022 and his life was said to be going in a better direction.
In addition to his wife, Longo was missed by three children: a seven-year-old daughter, a five-year-old son and a one-year-old son.
