She is a very prestigious and recognized criminal lawyer in the judicial world, especially skilled in her interrogations. One of her greatest successes was when she was the private prosecutor in the trial for the kidnapping of Segundo Marey by the GAL, in 1983. With her partner Francesc Jufresa, Tubau sent Jose Barrionuevo to jail, achieving for the first time after the recovery of democracy that a minister went to prison.
