He Catalan motorcycle racer Carles Falcónfrom the Rally 2 category, was transferred this Sunday in serious condition to the Ad Duwadimi hospital, in Saudi Arabiaafter suffering a fall in the second stage of the Dakar.
Falcón fell at kilometer 448 of the special at 3:52 p.m. local time and, alerted by a pilot who was following the motorcyclist, the organizers sent a medical helicopter that treated the pilot, who was injured “in a condition that was considered serious.”
For this reason, Falcón was transferred by air to Al Duwadimi hospital and “a complete report will be available in the next few hours,” sources from the organization reported.

Carles Falcón, a 45-year-old native of Tarragona, is one of the two drivers that make up the Catalan team. TwinTrail, who was participating in his second edition of the Dakar in the Original by Motul category, where he runs without assistance. The TwinTrail team debuted in 2022 with Carles Falcón, Isaac Feliu and Albert Martín, an edition in which two of the three drivers finished, since Isaac Feliu suffered a serious accident in stage 9 for which he was induced into a coma.
