Although the Carbagerun only starts on Monday, the procession is already on its way to the starting location in southern Germany today. Participants can arrive on Sunday at the first campsite between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., but Stern and his friends prefer to take the insecure.

“Leaving on time is not really our thing and I am afraid that some things can also die on the way,” he laughs. That is why the procession today drives a large part of Germany, so that they only have to drive to the campsite for three hours on Sunday.

The race will really start on Monday. The participants drive from southern Germany to Croatia. The entire five -day journey leads the drivers through countries such as Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and ends after more than 2000 kilometers in the Czech Republic.
