The RBB is only at the fore when it comes to funny sayings, in the ratings of the third programs the station usually takes the very last place. Even now, the RBB is not making headlines with its program, but with a possible corruption affair in its own house.
And what is director Patricia Schlesinger doing, who has solemnly promised that the allegations will be clarified? She stays away from a session of the Brandenburg state parliament. The impression is devastating – the rejection seems like “I don’t care”.
Schlesinger has been at the head of the RBB for six years. At the time, it took five hours and six ballots before she achieved a majority in the Broadcasting Council.
With her departure, things could go much faster.
