A number of celebrities paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II – for example, Elton John sang one of his biggest hits for her with “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me”. Now Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also considered singing, although many were not particularly enthusiastic about it.
Trudeau traveled to London for the funeral of the Queen, who was also Head of State of Commonwealth member Canada. He previously referred to her as “one of his favorite people.” A video has now been published on Twitter showing the Prime Minister in a luxury hotel in London: Before the Queen’s funeral service, he sang the Queen’s hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” together with his MPs and Canadian musician Gregory Charles, who accompanied him on the piano. .

“Freddy Mercury is rolling in his grave”
Trudeau was filmed by someone while he was singing. The clip immediately went viral and caused a violent shitstorm on social media: while many Twitter users found the action disrespectful, others felt entertained.
They left comments like “a national embarrassment” or “Freddie Mercury is turning in his grave”. Others commented amused: “I was wondering why Trudeau brought Gregory Charles, now I know the answer: he needed a pianist!” or “A Queen song for the Queen”.
Freddie Mercury is turning in his grave right now.
