The facility that the National Football Team will use as the base camp for the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) has been announced. The crescent-star players will stay at Sporthotel Fuchsbachtal near the city of Barsinghausen during the tournament to be held in Germany between 14 June and 14 July 2024 and will train there.
The National Football Team will camp at Sporthotel Fuchsbachtal near the city of Barsinghausen during EURO 2024, which will be held in Germany between 14 June and 14 July 2024. The facility, which is owned by the Lower Saxony State Football Federation and includes the sports academy of the federation, consists of 93 rooms and includes one natural and artificial grass field of regular size, a small field, an indoor sports hall, a fitness center and an indoor pool, as well as a hobby area with a bowling alley. It has space and meeting rooms. Additionally, an additional facility consisting of 4 training fields under the control of the hotel is located 5 km away from the hotel.
Sporthotel Fuchsbachtal, 25 km away from Hannover Airport, will serve only the National Team delegation during the tournament. No other guests will stay at the facility.
The red-whites will play their first match in the group against the Play-Off C winner on June 18, their second match against Portugal on June 22 in Dortmund, and their third match against the Czech Republic in Hamburg on June 26.
Since Barsinghausen is located between Dortmund and Hamburg and is close to both cities, the National Team will travel to the matches by road and return to the facilities after the end of the competitions.
