In one of the best games of his season, the Chicago Bulls came back from 23 points behind Ja Morant’s Memphis Grizzlies and, with a display from Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, they triumphed 128-107 to take a giant step towards the play-in from the east.

After trailing 61-38 in the second period, the Bulls sealed a devastating 90-46 that knocked down the Grizzlies, the second best team in the Western Conference. With four games still to play, the Bulls add momentarily four win lead over Wizardswith one more game, and they are one step away from securing their presence in the postseason for the second consecutive year.

LaVine and DeRozan they were the absolute protagonists with 36 and 31 points respectively, in an afternoon in which Coby White contributed 19 points coming off the bench. LaVine finished with 13 of 19 shooting and three triples, to which he added nine assists. DeRozan went 9-for-9 from the free line with seven assists and five rebounds.

The Grizzlies, who had won eight of their previous nine games, gave up despite 31 points from Jaren Jackson Jr. and at 21 of a Desmond Bane who, with his three-for-three on 3-pointers, became the fifth fastest player to reach 500 3-pointers in NBA history.
