The radio host’s request prompted numerous listeners to send certain types of voice messages so that Käärijä could be added to the playlist right from the morning.

In his Monday morning broadcast, the radio channel’s morning host Gary Davies65, said he was upset that Sweden’s visa representative Loreen won Eurovision.
– Listen, I think Loreen performed well in Eurovision, and she is a legend worthy of winning. But I love the Wrapper. Throughout the weekend, the song has been playing in my head, Davies stated on the morning broadcast.
Despite his enthusiasm, Davies was not allowed to play the Scroller, according to him Cha Cha Cha – hit on the morning show. According to the production team, the song is too heavy and loud for morning play, but the presenters disagreed.

Davies wanted to protest this injustice and asked his listeners to help. He asked listeners to send audio messages to the morning broadcast in which they version the song’s iconic Cha Cha Cha cry.
The listeners worked as they were told, and in about 20 minutes many of them sent their versions to the morning broadcast. People even demanded via text messages that Käärijä be called right from the morning.
– It’s never too early to play Cha Cha chat.
– Call Käärijä, he was my favorite song. He rocked the arena.
– I demand that you play Cha Cha chat.
– Just lock the door and ring it.
– I definitely support playing Cha Cha Cha. Remember, he was a crowd favorite.
A successful voicemail protest eventually convinced Davies to play the song, ignoring the opinions of the production team.
Loreen won with the votes of the professional jury, but Käärijä got the highest telephone votes. The final result has sparked a furious debate, among other things, about whether the opinion of the professional juries is more important than the opinion of the public. Viusu fans have been so enraged that they have filed a citizen’s initiative demanding that the jury be completely removed from the competition.
