This is already the second venue that announces that it will cancel Poju’s performance. On Tuesday, October 11, Hotel Kaustinen announced that it was canceling Poju’s gig, which was supposed to be on Saturday, October 21.
The uproar started with Poju’s update, where he defended Severi Lahti, who was sentenced on Tuesday, October 10, in Päijät-Häme District Court for rape to two years in prison. According to the district court, “judging all the facts as a whole, there was no reasonable doubt about the defendant’s (Lahtinen’s) guilt”.
In his update, Poju, his real name Pasi Heinonenamong other things, barked at the rape victim in an understated way and criticized JYP, which shelved Lahtinen after the verdict.
