Last winter’s skiing World Cup in Planica was for the Swede For Jonna Sundling success. As in the 2021 Games, the track runner won double gold when he was the best in both the traditional sprint and the pair sprint.
At the 2022 Olympics, he achieved a straight in the medals. Gold came again from the individual trip.
Remaining the best sprint skier in the world requires certain skills, which sometimes have a great impact on those close to you. Sundling reveals in the Swedish talk show Hellenius Hörna that she treats her boyfriend Anton Olofsson sometimes cruelly throwing him out of his home under the games.
It’s about Sundling’s final preparation phase. Extra distractions are not allowed when the main games of the year are around the corner.
– Living with me can be difficult. He knows what he’s getting himself into. Sometimes I kick him in the yard. I did that before the last value races, Sundling says to the host of the program David to Hellenius.

Hiihtotähti clarifies that Olofsson does not mind the temporary change of address.
– He will get his own accommodation. He doesn’t really lack anything. It’s not a cabin in the woods without a toilet, but an apartment where he can sunbathe and swim. There is a really good view, Sundling says of her boyfriend’s spare apartment.
– He says it’s worth the effort, the skier laughs.
The starting ski season may be easier for Olofsson than the previous one, since there are no prestigious competitions during the winter. In addition to the World Cup, the Tour de Ski attracts attention in the competition calendar. The next World Skiing Championships will be held in Trondheim in 2025.
