About ten people in Finland are suffering from the cancer that Gary Sininen’s son had.

CSI New York Gary Sinise, who played the main character of the TV series Mac Taylor, has faced great sadness in his life.
Sinise’s 33-year-old son, McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise, has died. The boy died of a rare cancer called chordoma.
Cancer organizations All about cancer – according to the site, a bone tumor originating from the remnants of the spinal cord during the fetal period. Cancer is so rare that only one in a million people get it. There are about ten cases in Finland.
“Mac” was diagnosed in 2018. Over the years, the cancer spread and weakened the boy’s ability to function. Mac was paralyzed from the neck down due to the disease and over the years had five different operations on his spine.
Gary Sinise is also known as an actor from series Base (1994) and Apollo 13 (1995). He also acted in a blockbuster film Forrest Gump. Lieutenant by Dan Taylor the role earned him a nomination for best supporting actor at the Oscars.
