Information about the ban on entry into the territory of Ukraine for Russians is a rumor, Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Service of the country, told Telegraf.
“Don’t be fooled by rumors. There is Ukrainian legislation regulating the crossing of the state border, and the border guards strictly observe it,” Demchenko said.
He noted that every day dozens of foreigners are denied entry to Ukraine for various reasons, among these people there are Russians who, like everyone else, must fulfill the conditions for entry.

Earlier, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, co-chairman of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, Vadim Rabinovich, said that Russians were no longer allowed into Ukraine. This was also stated by the Strana.ua publication, specifying that an exception is made only for those who have a certificate of death of close relatives in their hands.
