In the province of Cordovathe summer theatrical epicenter beats in the city of Villa Carlos Paz. The incessant tourist flow will find premieres, reruns, offers based on humorous themes, comedies and an important musical headed by a top-level figure. The list is extensive and covers numerous works so, in a brief summary, we mention only a few.
The first to raise the curtain was “Cirque Luneil”, at the Libertad theater, with musical and artistic direction by Denise Cerrone, where the traditional revue merges with the circus. The comedian Agustín Souza, the monologues of Omar Suarez, the performances of the acrobat participate Mauricio Guriniand the appearance of Fernando Verona with his magic tricks and illusionism.
On Monday the 18th, at the Luxor, he debuted Florencia Pena with a new version of the musical “Mamma mia”, directed by the restless Ricky Pashkus, with music by the renowned Swedish band Abba. Produced by businessman Miguel Pardo, it will perform twice a day with the actor and singer Alejandro Paker and a large cast.
On Monday the 25th, at Holiday 1, among the Christmas toasts, “Miguel and Chino en banda” arrived, with Miguel Del Sel and Chino Volpato, two former members of the group Midachi, already separated from the verbose Dady Brieva. Along with them is the Panamanian singer Idania Dowman as a musical attraction, the humor of Mauricio Jortak, the illusion tricks of Richard Laffite, the performance of Maxi Chavarria in hip-hop and a cast of six live musicians.
Meanwhile, on the 27th, at the Teatro del Lago, “Mystery in the Cabin” was presented, authored and performed by Pedro Alfonso, who has been performing in the mountains for more than ten years, along with Paula Cháves, Sabrina Rojas, Pachu Peña, Rodrigo Noya, Camilo Nicolás and Michellle Masson. The staging is by Diego Rinaldi, and the general production is by Ezequiel Corbo and Federico Hoppe in
co-production with La Flia.
On the 28th, at the Multiespacio Mónaco, “Bien Argentino” debuted, a show presented by the dancer and choreographer Ángel Carabajal with Gisela Bernal, Celeste Muriega, Christian Sancho, Julián Burgos, Mariquena del Prado, Andrés Teruel and cast. It is a proposal with a great display of production that rescues our folklore traditions.
Among the titles already tested in Buenos Aires, are “The King’s Musketeers”, at Candilejas 1, with Nicolás Cabré, Nicolás Scarpino, Fredy Villareal and Jorge Suárez, directed by Manuel González Gil. In addition, “Dos locas de remate” will be added, at Candilejas 2, with the duo Nazarena Vélez and Gladys Florimonte, also directed by González Gil.
Finally, in terms of humor, Anita Martínez will give “Humor for the whole family” at the Sol 1 theater, a one-woman show with musical scenes in which the actress will do monologues and recreate different characters. Likewise, Sergio Gonal will do “Café con Sergio” in the same room.
As if all this were not enough, the greatest expectation will be the return to the stage of Jey Mammon, with “Jey, I’ll be right back”, at the Zorba, directed by René Bertrand and produced by Gustavo Sofovich. The show is the public reappearance after the complaints that kept him away from all artistic activity.
