In a TikTok video, the actress declared that she had beaten lung cancer.
Kate Micucci declared she was cancer-free again after revealing her lung cancer diagnosis earlier this month.
“I have great news, that I am cancer free!”
The actress shared a new update on her health condition on TikTok. In the video, Micucci explained that she now has the medical reports showing that the lung cancer surgery was successful.
“The operation last week went great. I received the results and they show that everything worked. I don’t need any further treatment. So a big thank you to all my doctors and nurses and everyone who really took great care of me,” she said in the clip.
It wasn’t until December 9th that the 43-year-old shared the diagnosis with her followers on the platform, as well as the information that she was currently recovering from an operation in the hospital. Micucci also described that the cancer came as a surprise because, for example, she had never smoked. Finally, Micucci added, “But I guess things like that happen, and the best news is they caught it early, they got it out – I’m fine.”
Micucci became known for her role as Lucy in the US series “The Big Bang Theory”. She has also appeared in shows such as “Scrubs”, “How I Met Your Mother” and “Malcolm in the Middle”.
