The best skin-colored tights

Every woman should have at least one trusted brand whose tights can always be trusted.

The skirt season can be stretched well with skin-colored tights. We tested tights from different manufacturers and below we reveal the most successful options.

There is also a new domestic brand called Luvby, which promises to revolutionize the pantyhose market as a whole.

There were five testers in total, and the test period was several weeks. The tights were worn several times.

Change, Shape Tights, Cora, Shaping effect, Invicible toes, 20 den, 11.95 e, Change.

School grade: 9 TEST WINNER

Color: Soft Beige

User experience: I wear tights a lot, because I’m mainly comfortable in skirts or dresses. These tights from Change come with regular use. Reliable, durable and don’t squeeze too much, still stay up well. Everything is right!

I’m usually pretty careful when I put on tights this thin, but since I really wanted to test their durability as well, I pulled the tights on with pretty rough grips and they still held their surface. Too many times I’ve had to be disappointed almost immediately the first time and the tights have immediately become an eyesore. I didn’t even come to these with rough edges. Absolutely lovely!

Plus: The size classification was correct. I usually wear size M and these tights fit me perfectly.

The tights didn’t get electrified either, so there was no need to worry about the dress or skirt sticking to them.

Vogue tights, Suntan (brown), Vogue Sideria Sandalett, 17 den, 15.50 e, Stockmann.

School grade: 8

Color: Suntan

User experience: Semi-matte, thin tights for a tanned hippie, which are suitable for both everyday life and parties. The tights had a comfortable waistband, a flat seam and a lightly reinforced toe. They stayed on well, because the trouser part reached up comfortably. The crotch wedge was cotton.

Plus: Machine washable, although I recommend a more gentle hand wash. They stayed on well and felt inconspicuous.

Cons: You should be careful with very thin material, so that eye strain does not occur.

Luvby, 20 den, Heaven, Butt naked, 26.95 e, Luvby.

School grade: 8.5

Color: Butt naked

User experience: These are a completely new kind of tights! These tights have an exceptionally wide and gently shaping waistband. The material feels very pleasant on the skin.

Tights do not squeeze, and do not flow. It was nice to spend a long day with them. At no point did I feel like I wanted to take my pantyhose off so I could breathe. Credit socks, especially with dresses. Even deep slits are not a problem with these tights, as they are so unnoticeable.

I usually wear size M and Luvby’s size M was good for me. I could perhaps also test the S size and find out how far the waistband goes and if there will be more support.

Plus: Absolutely delightful presentation! The tights also have inventive and funny names. It’s also a plus that you could immediately see which way to put them on with the tights. Sometimes even this step takes me too long, but not with these tights.

Cons: The waist of the tights rises high, so with a transparent shirt, these tights are not the best option. Unless the skirt also rises as high.

Lindex tights, 20 den, lightly shaping semi-glossy tights9.99 e, Lindex.

School grade: 9

Color: Beige

User experience: Lightly shaping, semi-shiny tights provided nice posture and support. The semi-matte finish of the tights looked good with a variety of dresses and skirts. They held up well without squeezing, but were still easy to put on and take off: this is not a given with shaping tights. The model has reinforced toes and a small crotch wedge. The delicately machine-washable knitwear contains Lycra.

Plus: Easy to put on and take off, even during bathroom breaks. Posture and form, without a constricting and oppressive feeling.

Norlyn, Second Skin tights, 15 den, matte finish, 13.95 e, Sokos.

School grade: 8

Color: Sand

User experience: Norly Second Skin tights are described in the package as invisible tights, and that’s what they were. They didn’t feel almost at all, but they gave just the right amount of support, a beautiful hip and a touch of self-confidence. These are the things I always hope for in tights.

The shade was a natural color for my skin. Thanks to the tights, my pale legs got a beautiful updated look.

Plus: The package mentions that the tights are anti-electricity. So I paid special attention to this. The tights did what they promised, and the hem of the skirt did not stick to the tights at any point.

Cons: Care should be taken with such a thin material so that eye strain does not occur.

Change Stay up stockings, Sabiye Lace Stay-Up Stockings 20 den, 14.95 e, Change Lingerie.

School grade: 8.5

Color: Soft Beige

User experience: Elegant skin-colored stay-up socks are suitable for the party. Stayed well in place with the help of double silicone tape. The socks were finished with a floral lace decoration about 8 cm wide. A beautiful matte surface and a refined, but unobtrusive texture. The socks have toe reinforcement. After the party night, they lasted well for several more subsequent shots.

Plus: Lasted several celebrations and stayed in place very well. Sophisticated stay-up socks successfully complete outfits in party situations.

Cons: Stay-up socks are not very suitable for everyday use or cold autumn evenings. When choosing a size, you have to be careful that the socks don’t run: so consult the seller and follow the size charts.

Luvby, XL, (Almost) Snow White, 20 den, 26.95 e, Luvby.

School grade: 8

Color: (Almost) Snow White

User experience: The length of the XL size was enough for a 177-centimeter person – or the tights were even too long. In size XL, the waist band went up to the armpits. Maybe a better size for me would have been L. I didn’t notice much support at the waist, but that could also be because the size is too big. In this size, the waist also rolled down easily. I would have needed support lower on the stomach to stun the bum.

The good thing about the socks was the pleasant material. However, I would have liked it to have been a bit more punchy. The surface of the tights was natural looking, not too shiny and not too matte. The tights had no visible seams, so even if there was a see-through dress or very short hems, none of the reinforcements would show through the fabric or peek under the hem.

These would work in a more correct size and in a different color and if you don’t really need any hard support.

Plus: You get extra points for the really beautiful and stylish packaging. It somehow felt luxurious. I also liked that the material was 60% recycled.

Cons: In my opinion, the color was a bit too light and slightly yellowish. My skin is very pale, but the yellowness of the socks was a bit strange.
