Alongside the city’s best dressed, the recent New York Fashion Week attracted many international buyers and editors, returning for the first time since the pandemic. The participants were photographed in front of different venues wearing some of the hottest fashion trends. These included the “school girl style” that had become popular at Miu Miu last season, as well as a sleek, leggy look that focuses on miniskirts or shorts. Traditional American athletic wear, often with an oversized blazer, was seen on the streets, as were many Y2K-esque silhouettes. Finally, a group of participants wore skin-free outfits that celebrated the body in all its forms.
