Banana cake with browned butter
125 g of butter
5 dl spelled wheat flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
11/4 dl brown sugar
11/5 dl cane sugar
2 eggs
1/2 dl of sour cream or cream
1 teaspoon of real vanilla
3 overripe bananas
2 dl of dark chocolate in the form of grits
1. Grease and breadcrumb the bread pan. Raw chocolate.
2. Measure the butter into the pot and slowly stir until the butter smells aromatic and turns golden brown.
3. Mix the sugars in a bowl and add the browned butter. Stir until the sugars melt into the butter. Add roughly mashed bananas, eggs and crème fraîche.
4. Measure the dry ingredients and spices into another bowl, mix and add to the butter-sugar-egg mixture. Mix the ingredients together lightly, do not beat. Add the grated chocolate.
5. Bake the cake in a 200-degree oven for one hour.
