Not all Berliners are welcome at the Grünau lido on hot days. Some bathers were asked for their zip code at the entrance – some from Neukölln were then turned away.
Apparently there is one Postcode List with “allowed” and “not allowed” digits.
That’s a scandal!
I am not at all interested in the justification for this measure. I don’t even want to know why the responsible tenants came up with this unbelievable procedure.
Only one thing is important: This absurd selection process must stop immediately. I expect the state-owned Berlin baths companies to clarify the case immediately and not refer to the tenant’s domiciliary rights.
It’s outrageous how people want to steal themselves out of the affair with the cheapest of excuses.
