La Concha beach in San Sebastián is the star of the latest promotional video for ‘House of the Dragon’ and it does so by displaying the Targaryen shield, one of the families from the HBO series, with stones on the sand, on the occasion of the television premiere.
In a statement, the San Sebastián Gipuzkoa Film Commission (SSGFC) has announced its collaboration with the world premiere of this new HBO series. As indicated, La Concha beach has been the setting chosen to promote the world premiere of the series ‘La Casa del Dragón’, the prequel to ‘Game of Thrones’, which It premieres next Monday on the HBO Max streaming platform worldwide.
In the video, released by the official HBO social media accounts, artist Jon Foreman is seen riding the characteristic dragon silhouette of the Targaryen lineage on the sand.

Based on the novel ‘Fire and Blood’ by George RR Martin, ‘House of the Dragon’ is the story of the House of Targaryens. The 10-part series takes place 200 years before “Game of Thrones.”
With the support of the San Sebastián Gipuzkoa Film Commission, a joint office dependent on Fomento de San Sebastián and the Department of Culture of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, the stone recreation of the Targaryen family coat of arms can be seen on the beach from Monday until the night of Wednesday 24, reports Europa Press.
