If you think it can’t get any worse, the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district office comes and makes it worse…
A few weeks ago we reported on the districts’ ban on offering commercial sports courses in the capital’s parks. I commented on that at the time as a bad joke. Hard to believe, but it gets even more absurd.
Two Latin dance coaches played through the game and successfully applied for a license. All’s well that ends well? Not at all. They are allowed to hold their dance courses in the Park am Gleisdreieck, but only without music. Ghettoblaster noise adolescents at a barbecue is okay, dance music is forbidden.
Life and joy in the parks, free development as long as you don’t harm others? Those times are probably over.
